Kamran Murtaza
Kamran Murtaza is a Pakistani politician and has the status of a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He is currently serving as Senator of Pakistan from Balochistan Province for the term 2021 - 2027. He also remained in office as a Senator from 2003-2009. His political affiliation is with (MMA) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F). He is the founder of Kamran Law Associates. He was granted status of the 'Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan' on merit in note of his contributions as a lawyer. He holds 126 Reported Judgments to his name and contributed to 390 unprecedented legal issues in his career. Senate of Pakistan or Aiwān-e-Bālā Pākistān ( ur, , , literally "Pakistan upper house"), is the upper legislative chamber of the bicameral legislature of Pakistan, and together with the National Assembly makes up the Parliament of Pakistan. The Supreme Court Bar Association ( ur, )(SCBAP) is an association established in 1989 comprising the supreme court lawyers in Pakistan. The Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act 1973 provides for the forming, recognition and functioning of Bar Associations for supreme court lawyers working under the control of Pakistan Bar Council. It is an independent Bar association whose aim is to uphold the rule of law and the cause of justice and protect and promote the interest of the legal profession as well as that of the public. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan (Fazl) also Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) or simply as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Urdu: ; ; JUI-F) is a Deobandi Sunni political party in Pakistan. Established as the ''Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam'' in 1945, it is the result of a factional split in 1988, ''F'' standing for the name of its leader, Fazal-ur-Rehman. It is almost entirely based in southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern Balochistan, which are mostly inhabited by Pashtuns. The JUI-S faction, led by Samiul Haq, is of regional significance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but has no representation on the national level.
