Kamil Loud
Kamil Kassam Loud (born June 25, 1976) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League who played for the Buffalo Bills. He played college football for the Cal Poly Mustangs. He also played in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders. Early life Loud played quarterback and running back for three years at Salesian High, before ultimately graduating from El Cerrito High following his senior year, when he was recruited to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo by coach Andre Patterson. College career Loud was selected as the Cal Poly Men's Athlete of the Year in May 1998 after setting school receiving records for career catches (170), yards (3,144) and touchdowns (26). He was a charter member of the university's first four seasons (1994-97) as an NCAA Division I-AA program, and as a senior helped lead the team to a 10-1 record and top-20 national ranking. Cal Poly Mustangs
The Cal Poly Mustangs are the athletic teams representing California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. The university fields twenty-one teams and compete in NCAA Division I; they are primarily members of the Big West Conference, but the football team plays in the Big Sky Conference, the wrestling team is an associate member of the Pac-12 Conference, and the swimming and diving program competes as an affiliate member in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Douglas Richard Flutie (born October 23, 1962) is an American former football quarterback whose professional career spanned 21 seasons. He played 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), eight seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and one season in the United States Football League (USFL). A high school standout from Natick, Massachusetts, Flutie played college football at Boston College, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1984 amid a season that saw him throw the game-winning touchdown pass in the final seconds against Miami. He chose to begin his professional career with the USFL's New Jersey Generals; as Flutie had already begun playing with the Generals, NFL teams mostly ignored the Heisman winner. The 1998 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 18–19, 1998, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. Before the draft, there was much debate in the media on if the Indianapolis Colts would select Peyton Manning or Ryan Leaf with the first overall pick. Both were considered excellent prospects and future franchise quarterbacks: Leaf was considered to have more upside and a stronger throwing arm, whereas Manning was considered a polished prospect who was NFL ready and more mature.
