Kameron Canaday
Kameron Canaday (born August 20, 1993) is an American football long snapper who is a free agent. He played college football at Portland State and signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Early years Canaday played high school football at Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon, where he was a long snapper and defensive lineman. He earned First-team All-Southwest League honors as a defensive lineman. He was rated one of the best long snappers in the country by Rubio Long Snapping. He helped the team advance to the OSAA Class 6A state championship his senior year in 2011, where they lost to Lake Oswego High School. He was also on the Sheldon High team that won the OSAA Class 6A state championship his sophomore year in 2009. He played basketball in high school as well. Long Snapper
In American football, the long snapper (or deep snapper) is a center on special teams whose duty is to snap the football over a longer distance, typically around 15 yards during punts, and 7–8 yards during field goals and extra point attempts. Overview During field goal and point after touchdown attempts, the snap is received by the holder, typically 7–8 yards away. During punts, the snap is delivered to the punter from 13–15 yards away. Following a punt snap, the snapper often executes a blocking assignment and then must cover the kick by running downfield and attempting to stop the opposing team's punt returner from advancing the ball in the opposite direction. If the punt goes uncaught, it is the snapper's responsibility to make sure the ball does not enter the end zone or bounce backward resulting in loss of yards. The Western Oregon Wolves (also WOU Wolves) are the athletic teams that represent Western Oregon University, located in Monmouth, Oregon, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the Division II level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) since the 2001–02 academic year. Christian Kuntz (born April 13, 1994) is an American football long snapper for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Duquesne. High school career Kuntz is the son of Kathy and Theo Kuntz and he has two brothers, Jimmy and Louis. He attended Chartiers Valley High School in Pennsylvania, where he played basketball and football. Kuntz suffered a ruptured spleen prior to his senior season of football, forcing him to miss the season. On the basketball court, he won a WPIAL title alongside future NBA player and friend T. J.
