Kamelia Petrova
Kamelia Petrova ( Bulgarian: Камелия Петрова; born 1 May 2006) is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is world champion in All-around with the Bulgarian team at the world championship 2022 in Sofia and world champion in final with 3 ribbons+2balls. She is the European all-around champion and team champion with the Bulgarian team in 2023, as well as a silver medalist in the 5-hoop final. She was All-Around, 5 balls and 5 ribbons' silver medalist at the 2021 European Championship and she's the champion in the senior team competition at the 2022 European Championships. Personal life She started practicing rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 6 along her sister encouraged by her mother, who's a former athlete. Kamelia's favorite school subject is maths. Zhenina Trashileva ( Bulgarian: Женина Трашлиева; born 14 April 1997) is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is world champion in All-Around with the Bulgarian team and world champion in the final with 3 ribbons+2 balls in 2022 World Championships. She is European Champion with Team Bulgaria at the 2023 European Championships and Team Champion as well as Silver Medalist in the Five Hoops Final. Zhenina is also a team champion with the Bulgarian team at the European Championship in 2022 in Tel Aviv. Career Trashileva had been part of the Bulgarian national team competing internationally since 2012, including the 2012 junior European Championships. In 2013 she was invited to integrate the senior individuals by the national coordinator, Efrosina Angelova. Zhenina competed mainly nationally, not managing to breakthrough the national ranking. Vaya Draganova ( Bulgarian: Вая Драганова; born 25 September 2003) is a retired Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She is a 2022 European Champion in teams. Career Junior She started competing internationally in 2017 as an individual. In 2018 she was among the girls that competed to represent Bulgaria at the Youth Olympic Games, but she didn't succeed in getting the spot, that went to Tatyana Volozhanina. Senior In 2019 she was included in the national senior team, getting to compete at various World Cups, Grand Prix and tournaments. In late 2020 Draganova was included in the group. The 2022 FIG World Cup circuit in Rhythmic Gymnastics is a series of competitions officially organized and promoted by the International Gymnastics Federation.
