Kamarul Ariffin Mohamed Yassin
Tan Sri Kamarul Ariffin bin Mohamed Yassin (born 12 August 1934) served as the Chairman of the World Scout Committee. In 1983, he was awarded the 160th ''Bronze Wolf'', the only distinction of the World Organization of the Scout Movement, awarded by the World Scout Committee for exceptional services to world Scouting, at the 25th World Scout Conference. He was also a recipient of the Silver World Award. Malay Titles
The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. Sir William Gladstone, 7th Baronet
Sir Erskine William Gladstone of Fasque and Balfour, 7th Baronet, (29 October 1925 – 29 March 2018) was a teacher and an officer in the Royal Navy. The Scout Association appointed him as its Chief Scout from 1972 to 1982. Gladstone was the son of Sir Charles Gladstone and Isla Margaret Gladstone (née Crum), and a great-grandson of the former prime minister, William Ewart Gladstone. He was educated at Eton, and joined the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve in 1943 and saw action in World War II mainly based on destroyers in the Indian Ocean. Upon leaving the navy (with the rank of lieutenant), he received an honours degree in history at Christ Church, Oxford. He then entered the teaching profession, with positions at Shrewsbury and Eton, and he became head master of Lancing in 1961. He retired from the teaching profession in 1969. The Most Esteemed Order of Loyalty to the Crown of Malaysia ( ms, Darjah Yang Mulia Setia Mahkota Malaysia) is a Malaysian federal award presented for meritorious service to the country and awarded by the sovereign. The order was instituted on 15 April 1966 and gazetted on 30 June 1966. The order has three ranks. Order ranks Grand Commander The highest class of the order is the Grand Commander of the Order of Loyalty to the Crown of Malaysia (S.S.M.) ( ms, Seri Setia Mahkota Malaysia). The award recipient receives the title ''Tun'' and his wife '' Toh Puan''. The number of awards conferred is limited to 25 living recipients only at any time. The Silver World Award is a distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). It is presented for noteworthy and extraordinary service to youth on an international basis. Recipients must be a citizen of a country with a Scouting program that is a member of the World Scout Conference. Registered members of the BSA are not eligible for this award.
