Kalisha Keane
Kalisha Keane (born February 3, 1989) is a Canadian professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Melbourne Boomers in Australia's WNBL. Career College In college, Keane attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan for the Spartans. She participated in NCAA Division I, as a part of the Big Ten Conference. She was also named to the Kodak All-American Regional Team while also being the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year her senior year. Michigan State statistics Source Europe After college, Keane headed to Europe and signed with ŽKK Gospić in Croatia's A-1 Liga Žene. Towards the end of the season, she signed with Elitzur Holon in Israel's league. In January 2014, she returned to Israel, with Elitzur Netanya for two seasons. Women's National Basketball League
The Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) is the pre-eminent professional women's basketball league in Australia. It is currently composed of eight teams. The league was founded in 1981 and is the women's counterpart to the National Basketball League (NBL). Several WNBL teams have NBL counterparts. Michigan State Spartans
The Michigan State Spartans are the athletic teams that represent Michigan State University. The school's athletic program includes 23 varsity sports teams. Their mascot is a Spartan warrior named Sparty, and the school colors are green and white. The university participates in the NCAA's Division I and the Football Bowl Subdivision for football. The Israeli Female Basketball Premier League or Ligat ha'Al (Hebrew : ליגת העל בכדורסל נשים), is a women's professional basketball league in Israel. It is currently composed of eleven teams. The league was founded in 1957. Initially the most predominant teams in the league were veteran women basketball clubs such as Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv, who won almost yearly during the first two decades after the establishment of the league. This changed in 1976 when the team Elitzur Tel Aviv began winning all of the league's championships for 19 years straight.
