Kakkakuyil
''Kakkakuyil'' () is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language heist comedy-drama film written and directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Lissy. It stars Mohanlal and Mukesh. The film features songs composed by Deepan Chatterji and background score by S. P. Venkatesh. Kakkakuyil was released on 14 April 2001. It was remade in Telugu as ''Tappu Chesi Pappu Koodu'' (2002) and in Tamil as ''London'' (2005). ''London'' is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film written by Badri and directed by Sundar C. It is a remake of the 2001 Malayalam film ''Kakkakuyil''. Priyadarshan
Priyadarshan (born 30 January 1957) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films, while also having done six films in Tamil and two films in Telugu. He has done about 31 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by any Hindi film director after David Dhawan. He was one of the first directors in India to introduce rich color grading, clear sound and quality dubbing through his early Malayalam films. Priyadarshan has also directed many advertisement films. Innocent Vareed Thekkethala (born 28 February 1948) is an Indian actor and politician. He predominantly works in Malayalam cinema in addition to Hindi, English, Tamil, and Kannada films, mostly in comedic roles.
