Kaina Martinez
Kaina Darina Martinez (born 20 February 1986) is a Belizean athlete. She competed in 100 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In 2017, she was named one of nine finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Martinez was born in the Garifuna village of Seine Bight, Stann Creek District Stann Creek District is a district in the south east region of Belize. Seine Bight
Seine Bight is a village on the Placencia Peninsula located in the Stann Creek District of Belize. It is located 2 and a half miles south of Maya Beach Village and North of the village of Placencia. This small village has roughly 1,000 inhabitants, mostly Garifuna people who subsist on fishing, hunting, and homegrown vegetables.
