Kailash Surendranath is an Indian advertising filmmaker. Surendranath is best known for producing ''Mile Sur Mera Tumhara (unity-in-diversity)'' song in 1986 and directing revised version of the same in 2010. "Ek Sur" () or "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara" () as it is better known, is an Indian song and accompanying video promoting national integration and unity in diversity. The concept for ''Mile Sur'' was developed in 1988 by Lok Seva Sanchar Parishad and promoted by Doordarshan (then India's sole TV broadcaster) and India's Ministry of Information. The song was composed by Bhimsen Joshi and arranged by Louis Banks, with lyrics by Piyush Pandey (then an account manager and presently the executive chairman and creative head of Ogilvy and Mather, India). ''Love You Hamesha'' () is an Indian Hindi-language romance film written and directed by Kailash Surendranath. It stars Akshaye Khanna and Sonali Bendre as its main cast, and other supporting actors. The film is a remake of the Tamil film ''May Maadham'' (1994). The soundtrack of the film is composed by A. R. Rahman with songs from the original. The film was stuck in the cans and remained unreleased for over 20 years. Sonali Bendre called her role in this film one of her best roles. Surendra (11 November 1910 – 11 September 1987; Surendra Nath) was an Indian singer-actor of Hindi films. Known by his mononym, Surendra was born and educated in Punjab to be a lawyer by profession. He came to Bombay to become a singer on the recommendation of a Delhi distributor and his friends. He was "picked" by Mehboob Khan whom he met at Sagar Movietone, to sing and act in films as an alternative to the then Calcutta-based singer-actor, K. L. Saigal. Surendra started his career with his debut starring role in ''Deccan Queen'' (1936), directed by Mehboob Khan. He soon became a part of Sagar Movietone when his song "Birha Ki Aag Lagi More Man Mein" from the film became an "instant hit".
