Kai Hua Roh ( th, ขายหัวเราะ; ; ) is a Thailand comedy comic book launched in 1973 by Editor Vithit Utsahajit. Kai Hua Roh content is a comic strip that offers humorous aspects of life, popular culture, society, politics, entertainment and news. This book also includes several articles about short story, gags from audience and a guest that is a public figure. History Published in 1973 by Vithit Utsahajit , son of the founder of Bunluesarn, Bunlue Utsahajit in the purpose that it will bring entertainment to the readers due to the lack of media at that time. The name comes from two words “Kai (To Sell)” and “Hua Roh (Laugh)” which Vithit ask an artist from that time before he published the book. At first, Kai Hua Roh was distributed into A4 size paper then changed the size into pocket book for more portability. Vithit Utsahajit
Vithit Utsahajit is the man who established Kai-Hua-Roh comic, Mahasanook comic, and is a director of Pee Hua Kard the movie.(in Thai) Also, he is the first pioneer who created 3D animation movie of Thailand. People give him a nickname “The King of Thai Cartoon”. At present, the Bunluesarn's fan know him as “Editor Withit”. Biography Vithit Utsahajit is the son of Bunlue Utsahajit, the owner and establisher of Bunluesarn Group. He is the first son of the entire family. He graduated secondary school from Chulanak Girl School and later he moved to Rajamangala University of Technology Phanakhon. On this period, Withit has a chance to learn and take an internship in movie field. After that, he decided to continue studying at London Film School and received Diploma of Higher Education ( DipHE). Pakdee Saentaweesuk
Pakdee Santaweesuk or Tai Kai-Hua-Roh is a Thai cartoonist. He is a pioneer of Kai-Hua-Roh and Mahasanook cartoons. He is the first publisher of the cartoon named PangPond. Early life Santaweesuk was born on October 13, 1960, in Bangkok. He earned his High Vocational Certificate from Rajamangala University of Technology Phranakhon in advertising in 1979. While Pakdee was studying in the second year of Vocational Certificate, he offered a drawing to Vithit Utsahajit, the editor Ban-Lue-Sarn Publisher. He was accepted as a cartoonist of Mahasanook and Kai-Hua-Roh in 1979. Pakdee drew a picture story in ''Lai-Rot'' magazine, which was owned by Banluesarn. Career After he graduated, he worked with an advertising company while drawing cartoon for Mahasanook and Kai-Hua-Roh. In 1983 Vithit asked him to work as a full-time editor-assistant. Arifen Hazanee
Arifen Hazanee, or pen name “Fen Studio” (born on June 17, 1957), was a Thai cartoonist of Banlue Publication, which published Mahasanook, Sao Dokmai Ga Nai Gluaykai, Ram Avtar, and Mahabharata. Biography Arifen was a Thai-Muslim man who was born on June 17, 1957, in Bangkok and raised in Yala province in Thailand. He graduated high school from Kanarasdornbumroong Yala School in Yala Province, and was graduated bachelor's degree from Pohchang Academy of Arts (Commercial design). Renowned work The first cartoon he drew was made during his time at university. He was inspired to be a cartoonist and wanted to have his own salary for further education, so he started his career from drawing a three panel comedy cartoon.
