''Kahit Maputi Na ang Buhok Ko: The Music of Rey Valera'' is a 2023 Filipino biographical musical film revolving around the life of Filipino musician Rey Valera. It is directed by Joven Tan under Saranggola Media Productions and stars RK Bagatsing. Cast *RK Bagatsing as Rey Valera:Bagatsing was not the first choice actor to portray the role of the musician. As preparation for the portrayal, he studied YouTube clips of Valera, his concerts, and his interviews. He intentionally did not meet with Valera prior to filming to avoid giving in to pressure and "commit major acting mistakes". Joven Tan
Jovinor "Joven" Tan is a Filipino film director and songwriter. Education Tan, who was born in Malabon, attended the Polytechnic University of the Philippines where he earned a degree in mass communication. He was a member of the school's Bagong Himig chorale, which covered a large portion of his educational expenses. Career Music Tan has been creating music since 1999. He has collaborated with composers Sunny Ilacad, Eric Dela Cruz Narvaez, and Sherwin Castillo. He also wrote songs for Ogie Alcasid, Lovi Poe, the VoizBoys and Ai-Ai de las Alas. He entered the 2013 Himig Handog songwriting competition which he won through the love song "Ano'ng Nangyari sa Ating Dalawa" fielded in the grand final. The 2023 Summer Metro Manila Film Festival was an iteration of the annual Summer Metro Manila Film Festival held in Metro Manila and throughout the Philippines. It was organized by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in partnership with the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines. The theme of the film festival would be "''Tuloy-tuloy ang Saya''" (). The inaugural edition was supposed to be held in 2020, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2023 edition is now considered to be the first iteration of the film festival. Following the organization of the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival, the MMDA announced on January 9, 2023, that the summer film festival will be held from April 8 to 18, 2023.
