In North American broadcasting, a local marketing agreement (LMA), or local management agreement, is a contract in which one company agrees to operate a radio or television station owned by another party. In essence, it is a sort of lease or time-buy. KSMH (1620 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Catholic religious radio format as a member of the Relevant Radio network. Licensed to West Sacramento, California, United States, it serves the Sacramento metropolitan area. The station is owned by Relevant Radio, Inc. KSMH broadcasts at 10,000 watts by day, 1,000 watts at night, using a non-directional antenna. The transmitter is on 28th Street in Sacramento, near the American River and The Capital Freeway. History KSMH originated as the expanded band "twin" of an existing station on the standard AM band.
