Faridah Seriki, known professionally as Kah-Lo is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, best known for her song ‘Fasta’ and for her work on ' Rinse and Repeat' with British DJ, Riton. The track was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 59th Grammy Awards. Together, she and Riton have released 'Betta Riddim', 'Money' ft. Mr. Eazi and Davido, and Triple J hits 'Fake ID' and 'Ginger'. Her debut single Fasta was released on 11 August 2017. The song was chosen as BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac's hottest record in the world on 22 August 2017. Her collaborative album "Foreign Ororo" with Riton was released on 5 October 2018. Biography Seriki was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, where she attended Vivian Fowler Memorial College. Henry Smithson (born 13 September 1978), best known by his stage name Riton ( ), is an English electronic music DJ and producer from Newcastle upon Tyne. Early life and education Smithson was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. The name ''Riton'' is French slang for "Henry". He graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Career After finishing university, Smithson started the Switch Recordings label, upon which he released his first two 12" singles. He began DJing at Newcastle's "Shindig" nightclub. There, he was discovered by Mark Rae and signed to Grand Central Records independent record label. Like Rae, he then worked in Manchester's Fat City Records label/distribution/retail outlet. Michael Brun (born 19 May 1992) is a Haitian DJ and record producer based in New York, known for blending electronic music with traditional Haitian styles such as kompa and rara. He released his debut EP ''Gravity'' in 2013 and founded the record label Kid Coconut in 2014, to showcase Haitian music and develop Haitian artists. Oluwatosin Ajibade (born 19 July 1991), better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, is a Nigerian-born, Ghana-based singer. He is a pioneer of Banku music, a fusion of sound he describes as a mixture of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. Rupert Howarth, better known by his stage name Perto, is an Australian DJ and music producer from Sydney, Australia. He gained global recognition after a video of his live performance went viral on Facebook in 2018. Early life Perto grew up in Australia, not coming from a musical background.
