Kagney Linn Karter (born March 28, 1987) is an American pornographic actress, stripper, singer and model. Early life Karter was born in Harris County, Texas and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri and Ridgway, Pennsylvania. Career Karter began erotic dancing while in Missouri and was named the state's Déjà Vu Showgirl of the Year in 2007. She later moved to California to pursue an acting and singing career. Karter fell out with her manager when he discovered she had been working as an exotic dancer. The 27th AVN Awards ceremony in Las Vegas, presented by ''Adult Video News'' (''AVN''), honored the best pornographic movies of 2009. The ceremony was held on January 9, 2010 in a new venue, the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort in Paradise, Nevada. The Urban X Awards is an annual award ceremony held in the United States to honor achievement in ethnic pornography. NightMoves Award
The NightMoves Awards are given annually in the pornographic film industry by ''NightMoves'', an Oldsmar, Florida-based magazine which was first published in 1987 and initially titled ''Sports South''. The awards began in 1993 and were initially titled the Central Florida Adult Entertainment Awards. It is the third oldest continuously running adult awards show in the United States, after the AVN Awards and the XRCO Awards. It also marks the start of the porn industry's awards season. XRCO Awards
The XRCO Awards are given by the American X-Rated Critics Organization annually to people working in adult entertainment and it is the only adult industry awards show reserved exclusively for industry members. Once every calendar year, XRCO members are asked to submit their own nominations. Members do not have to vote in every award category, but they are asked only to vote in areas that they feel qualified in.
