Kabete Constituency
Kabete Constituency is an electoral constituency within Kiambu County that neighbours Westlands Constituency in Nairobi County. It is one of twelve constituencies in Kiambu County. A study in 2005 revealed that Kabete constituency has the lowest poverty rate in Kenya. The constituency was split in 2012 as by the 2010 constitution on devolution in order to have Kikuyu Constituency Kikuyu Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. Kiambu County
Kiambu County is a county in the former Central Province of Kenya. Its capital is Kiambu and its largest town is Thika. Kiambu County is the second most populous after Nairobi County. Kiambu County borders Nairobi and Kajiado Counties to the South, Machakos to the East, Murang'a to the North and North East, Nyandarua to the North West, and Nakuru to the West and has a population of 2,417,735. Westlands Constituency is an electoral constituency in Kenya. It is one of the seventeen constituencies in Nairobi County. The constituency is situated within Westlands Sub-county, formerly Westlands District. The entire constituency is located within Nairobi City County. The constituency has an area of . It was known as Nairobi Northwest Constituency at the 1963 elections, then as Parklands Constituency and since 1988 elections it has been known as Westlands Constituency. George Muchai
George Muchai (1955/6 – 7 February 2015) was a Kenyan politician and trade unionist. He served as a member of the National Assembly for Kabete Constituency since the 2013 elections. He was a member of the Jubilee Alliance. In October 2011 Muchai survived an attempt on his life. On 7 February 2015 Muchai was returning from a family dinner when his car was rammed in Nairobi Nairobi ( ) is the capital and largest city of Kenya. Ferdinand Waititu
Ferdinard Ndungu Waititu, also known as Baba Yao, is a Kenyan politician who served as the second governor of Kiambu County from 2016 to January 2020. He was impeached on corruption charges. His troubles started after it was learnt he was involved in a scheme of grabbing land from a widow worth over one million dollars amongst other fraudulent activities. He is currently awaiting trial for the mismanagement of county fund of over five million dollars. He also served as an assistant minister for Water Services and Irrigation in the government of Kenya.
