Nicke Kabamba (born 1 February 1993) is an English Association football, footballer who plays as a striker for National League (division), National League side Barnet F.C., Barnet. Club career Early career Kabamba was a Sprint (running), sprinter when young, but opted to play football instead. He joined Uxbridge F.C., Uxbridge in 2011 after scoring 13 goals for Hayes & Yeading United F.C., Hayes & Yeading United's under-18 team. He impressed enough with the reserve squad to grant a debut on 22 November in a Southern Football League Cup (England), Southern League Cup 3–1 defeat at Northwood F.C., Northwood. Lucas "Kabamba" Floors (born 15 November 1980 in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape) is a former South African rugby union footballer, who made in excess of 200 appearances during his playing career. He started and finished his career at the , making 33 appearances for the George-based outfit between 2003 and 2004 and a further 17 appearances in 2013. He spent the bulk of his career in Bloemfontein, representing the in the domestic Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup competitions and the in Super Rugby. Maguy (Margaret) Rashidi Kabamba (born 3 August 1960) is a writer and translator from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She has a B.A. specialized in Translation from York University, Toronto, Canada and a M.A. with major French, minor Spanish from Saint-Louis University, St. Louis, MO. Her novel ''La Dette coloniale'' (The Colonial Debt) came out in 1995. The book takes a critical look at the belief many Africans have that a better life can be found in Europe. Its title refers to a philosophy that acquisition of goods and money by any means (i.e. criminality) is a legitimate refund or entitlement. The phrase has been used frequently by Congolese leaders.
