Sreekumaran Thampi
Sreekumaran Thampi (born 16 March 1940) is an Indian lyricist, music director, director, producer, and screenwriter in Malayalam cinema. He also writes poetry and is a recipient of the Vallathol Award. In 2017, he was awarded the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema. Film career Thampi was introduced to the Malayalam film industry in 1966 by P. Subramaniam as a lyricist in the film '' Kaattumallika''. He has produced 25 films, directed 29, and written scripts for 85 films in Malayalam besides writing thousands of songs. He is also the author of the well-known literary work ''Prem Nazir Enna Prema Gaanam''. He won the National Award for Best Book on Cinema film (Kanakkum Kavitayum) whilst his films ''Gaanam'' and ''Mohiniyattam'' won Kerala State Awards. Geethanjali (1947 – 31 October 2019) was an Indian actress who worked in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi films. In an career spanning close to six decades, she featured in over 500 films across multiple languages. Her first film as a dancer is Rani Ratnaprabha in 1960. NTR introduced her to the silver screen as a heroine with his directorial debut film '' Sita Rama Kalyanam'' in 1961. She was famous for her roles in '' Murali Krishna'' (1964), ''Doctor Chakravarthy'' (1964), ''Illalu'' (1965), ''Sambarala Rambabu'' (1970), '' Kaalam Marindi'' (1972), and ''Abbayigaru Ammayigaru'' (1973). ''Vana Mohini'' is a 1941 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Bhagwan. The film stars Srilankan actress K. Thavamani Devi and M. K. Radha. Additionally, an elephant played an important role in the film. Plot The story is about a tribal girl, played by K. Thavamani Devi, who lives in a forest with an elephant. A prince (M. K. Radha) comes to the forest in search of his uncle. The prince and the tribal girl meet and ultimately fall in love. Things are going well when they are caught by the villain.
