Kaanapponnu is a Malayalam novel written by dual writers, Parappurath and K. Surendran. The novel was published in December 1982 by the literary workers co-operative society. The novel is a novel by dual writers. After the death of Parappurath, the non-completed novel was completed by Surendran. Story line A beautiful girl named Ribba, from a wealthy family, has to be so humbly married to a non-beautiful young man named Thomas Kutty, with a certain situation. The reluctance of Reeba to Thomas, Reeba creates tensions in their marriage life. Later, Reeba, whose familiarity with Thomas Kutty's beautiful Sunaramanayana Rao, knows the beauty of the minds of Thomas Kutty. Parappurath
Kizhakkepainummoodu Easo Mathai, better known by his pen name Parappurath (1924–1981), was an Indian novelist, short story writer and screenwriter who wrote in the Malayalam language. His body of work comprises 20 novels, 14 short story anthologies and 15 screenplays. He was a recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Story (1966), Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Novel (1968) and Kerala State Film Award for Best Story (twice 1970 and 1972), amongst other honours. Biography K. E. Mathai was born on 14 November 1924 in Kunnam, a small village near Mavelikkara in Alappuzha district of the south Indian state of Kerala to Kizhakkepainummoottil Kunjunaina Easo and Sosamma. His early schooling was at the local primary school in Kunnam and later, he joined Chettikulangara High School but he could not complete his education as his father died in 1939, leaving Mathai to take over the responsibility of the family. Deepika (newspaper)
''Deepika'' (; known as ''Nasrani Deepika'' till 1939) is an Indian Malayalam-language newspaper, which is one of the oldest newspapers published in India. Started in 1887, it is the oldest Malayalam newspaper now in circulation. Deepika publishes editions from Kottayam, Kochi, Kannur, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. History Deepika newspaper was started in 1887 as Nasrani Deepika by a Syrian Catholic priest, Nidhirikkal Manikkathanar. Jatiaikya Sangham, an organization formed with the objective of uniting the Pazhayakoor and Puthenkoor communities among the Christians of Kerala, came up with the idea of a newspaper for all the various Christian communities in Kerala. Although this project did not work out, the Catholics in this group sought the permission of Mar Marcelinos, the bishop of Veropoly and started a newspaper.
