Kaal (2005 Film)
''Kaal'' () is a 2005 Indian supernatural horror film written and directed by Soham Shah. It was jointly produced by Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. The film stars John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Ajay Devgn. It was released on 29 April 2005 and was an average commercial success at the box office. The story focuses on a wildlife expert, his wife, and a group of friends who battle against a mysterious entity in the fictional Orbit National Park (alluding to the world-famous Jim Corbett National Park, Nainital, Uttarakhand) for their lives while being helped by a mysterious tour guide. ''Kaal '' ( bn, কাল, ) is a Bengali film released in 2007. The film directed by Bappaditya Bandopadhyay stars Chandrayee Ghosh, Rudranil Ghosh, Dola Chakraborty, Sandhya Shetty. It was selected for screening at the Cairo International Film Festival, 2007, the São Paulo International Film Festival 2007 and the Stockholm International Film Festival 2007. Incidentally, this is the third successive year that Bandopadhyay's film is being screened at São Paulo International Film Festival. KAAL (channel 6) is a television station licensed to Austin, Minnesota, United States, serving as the ABC affiliate for Southeast Minnesota and Northern Iowa. Vivek Anand Oberoi (born 3 September 1976) is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi cinema, in addition to working in few Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil films. Early life Vivek Oberoi was born in Hyderabad, Telangana, to a Punjabi father, Suresh Oberoi, an actor. In 1974, Suresh married Yashodhara, a Tamil, in Chennai.
