KWTO-FM "101.3 Real Country" (previous call letters KTXR) is a radio station broadcasting a classic country music format, licensed to Buffalo, Missouri, United States. The station was previously owned by Stereo Broadcasting, a subsidiary of Meyer Communications. History KTXR was a longtime beautiful music/easy listening station which had modified its format to a more contemporary Soft AC sound in recent years. The station recently unveiled a new approach dubbed "Timeless Love Songs", a mixture of classic AC/soft rock hits, classic and contemporary versions of pop standards, and smooth jazz cuts. The new format replaces the AC chart currents the station used to play with "new standards" artists such as Norah Jones, Michael Bublé, Diana Krall, Queen Latifah, Rod Stewart, and Renee Olstead. KTXR "98.7 the Dove" (previous call letters KWTO-FM) is a radio station licensed to Springfield, Missouri, United States broadcasting a soft adult contemporary format. The station was previously a sports talk format known as "JOCK 98.7 ESPN." This format moved to 98.7 FM's sister stations KBFL (AM) and KBFL-FM (1060 AM/96.9 FM/99.9 FM) on July 30, 2020 as part of the purchase of the Meyer Communications owned stations (which also includes KWTO (AM) and KWTO-FM) by Zimmer Midwest Communications. History KWTO-FM went on the air on November 23, 1967; it later adopted a rock format and was known as "Rock 99". The name lasted well into the 1980s until rival station KXUS went on the air in April 1985 with a similar format. Rock 99 was originally an automated music format utilizing the TM Stereo Rock format based from Dallas, TX. KBFL (AM)
KBFL (1060 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a sports format. The station most recently and throughout most of its history had a Music of Your Life adult standards format; from September 1, 2013 through March 2, 2015, KBFL broadcast a smooth jazz format. KBFL simulcasts on KBFL-FM 99.9 and translator K245CA 96.9 FM. The station is licensed to Springfield, Missouri and was previously owned by Meyer-Baldridge, Inc. (d/b/a Meyer Communications). On July 24, 2020, it was announced that the sports talk format on KBFL’s sister station KWTO-FM (now KTXR) would be moving to the KBFL frequencies, and that the entire group of Meyer Communications owned radio stations were being purchased by Zimmer Midwest Communications. KBFL began simulcasting KWTO-FM on July 30, and unveiled a new logo reflecting the new frequencies "JOCK 96.9 FM 99.9 FM 1060 AM.".

KBFL-FM (99.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Buffalo, Missouri. The station was previously owned by Meyer-Baldridge, Inc. The station is simulcast on KBFL and translator K245CA 96.9 FM. On March 2, 2015, KBFL-FM flipped to the “Outlaw Nation” format; the Music of Your Life format moved to KBFL. However, due to the overwhelming response of the format, Meyer announced that "The Outlaw" had moved to sister station KTXR November 2, 2015. A new format launched on KBFL-FM on the same day, and it turned out to be a simulcast of adult standards-formatted KBFL 1060 AM. KWTO (AM)
KWTO (560 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Springfield, Missouri. It is owned by Zimmer Midwest Communications and airs a Talk Radio format. The studios and offices are on East Chestnut Expressway in Springfield. KWTO is powered at 5,000 watts by day and 4,000 watts at night. It uses a directional antenna with a five-tower array. The transmitter is off Tower Lane in Ozark, Missouri, near U.S. Route 65. The signal reaches parts of Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma. It provides at least secondary coverage as far north as Kansas City, as far west as Tulsa and as far south as Fort Smith. Programming is also heard on 250 watt FM translator 93.3 K227AO.
