KTWO-TV (channel 2) is a television station in Casper, Wyoming, United States, affiliated with ABC. It is owned by Vision Alaska LLC, which maintains a shared services agreement (SSA) with Coastal Television Broadcasting Company LLC, owner of Fox affiliate KFNB (channel 20), for the provision of certain services. Coastal also operates CBS affiliate KGWC-TV (channel 14) under a separate SSA with owner Big Horn Television LLC. The stations share studios on Skyview Drive in Casper, while KTWO-TV's transmitter is located atop Casper Mountain. KTWO-TV is also available on a network of UHF and VHF translators across the state. It is also available on the second digital subchannel of KGWC and its satellites and translators; as well as the second digital subchannels of KFNB satellites KFNE and KFNR (but not KFNB itself). KFNB (channel 20) is a television station in Casper, Wyoming, United States, affiliated with the Fox network. It is owned by Coastal Television Broadcasting Company LLC, which provides certain services to ABC affiliate KTWO-TV (channel 2, owned by Vision Alaska LLC) and CBS affiliate KGWC-TV (channel 14, owned by Big Horn Television LLC) under separate shared services agreements (SSAs). KKTQ-LD (channel 16) is a low-power television station in Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States, affiliated with ABC. The station is owned by Vision Alaska LLC, which operates Fox affiliate KLWY (channel 27) under a shared services agreement (SSA) with the Coastal Television Broadcasting Company. KKTQ-LD's transmitter is located on Happy Jack Road ( WYO 210) west of the city. Although identifying as a station in its own right, KKTQ-LD is considered a semi-satellite of ABC affiliate KTWO-TV (channel 2) in Casper. As such, it simulcasts all network and syndicated programming as provided by its parent, but airs separate station identifications and commercials. KSPR-TV (Wyoming)
KSPR-TV, VHF analog channel 6, was a CBS- affiliated television station in Casper, Wyoming, United States, between 1957 and 1959. The station was owned by radio station KSPR (1470 AM). The station closed as a result of competition from a local cable system; it would be more than 20 years before a second commercial station opened in Casper. History The station went on the air August 12, 1957 as a CBS affiliate, matching the radio station, the only CBS radio outlet in the state of Wyoming. Coinciding with the launch of the television station, KSPR radio and TV moved into new quarters on East Second Street. KTWO's towers are located east of Casper. KTWO (1030 kHz) is an American AM radio station licensed to Casper, Wyoming. KTWO broadcasts a 50,000 watt signal from a two-tower facility located east of Casper near Hat Six Road. The station features several talk shows such as ''The Glenn Beck Program'', ''The Sean Hannity Show'', ''Coast to Coast AM''. KTWO is also very well known for its news department. It features short news broadcasts throughout the day, as well as a half-hour nightly news program entitled "Wyoming Tonight." In addition the station also offers news broadcasts from Fox News Radio. The station's studios are located on Overland Avenue in the Homestead Business Park section of Billings, and its transmitter is located on Coburn Hill southeast of downtown. Equity Media Holdings Corporation was a broadcasting company based in Little Rock, Arkansas that owned and operated television stations across the United States. Prior to March 30, 2007, the company was known as Equity Broadcasting, a name later used for its broadcast station subsidiary. The company had a focus on Hispanic and Asian American communities in large markets while owning a combination of English-language network affiliates in medium and small markets.
