KTCR (AM)
KTCR (980 AM "Kruzn 106.9 KTCR") is a radio station licensed to Selah, Washington. Owned by Stephens Media Group, it broadcasts an oldies format. History The station went on air as KUTI in 1955. In 1983 KUTI changed its city of license from Yakima to Selah in order to increase power and add nighttime service. On May 26, 2010, it was rumored then-KJOX's parent company New Northwest Broadcasters's stations could possibly be sold in the near future. Principal of Revitalization Partners, Alan Davis says "The stations are on the air; it's business as usual. I can only tell you there appears to be demand for the stations." In 2012, the stations were sold to James Ingstad of Fargo, North Dakota. On August 29, 2013, KTCR and its classic country format moved to 980 AM, swapping frequencies with talk-formatted KBBO. Selah, Washington
Selah is a city in Yakima County, Washington, United States. The population was 8,153 at the 2020 census. History Selah was incorporated on March 17, 1919. The Tree Top apple processor co-operative (established in 1960) has its headquarters and two processing plants in Selah. In 2004, the Yakama Tribe bought the old Hi-Country juicing plant, which it operated until 2010. Currently, the facility is owned and operated by Sun-Rype, the U.S. arm of Western Canada's largest juice and fruit snack distributor. It continues to produce store brand apple juice and other beverages. In addition a number of fruit companies have warehouses there, due to the proximity of fruit orchards in the nearby Wenas Valley and access to regional railroad and roadway systems for shipment to markets. Selah and the Wenas Valley increasingly serve as a "bedroom community" of the larger city of Yakima to the south. KKHK
KKHK (95.5 FM, "Bob FM") is a commercial radio station in Carmel, California, broadcasting to the Santa Cruz-Monterey-Salinas, California area on 95.5 FM. Owned by Stephens Media Group, through licensee SMG-Monterey, LLC, it broadcasts an Alternative format. Its studios are in Monterey while its transmitter is located east of the city. History 95.5 FM had been a classical music station branded as "K-Bach" until February 9, 2008, when the format was moved to 103.9 FM. On February 14, 2008, the call sign on 103.9 FM temporarily changed to KKHK which were then swapped with KBOQ on February 26. On December 3, 2010 KKHK changed their format from country as Hank FM, to adult hits branded as "Bob FM". Active rock is a radio format used by many commercial radio stations across the United States and Canada. Active rock stations play a balance of new hard rock songs with valued classic rock favorites, normally with an emphasis on the harder edge of mainstream rock and album-oriented rock. ESPN Deportes Radio was an American Spanish language sports radio network created and produced by Disney-owned ESPN. Programming included call-in talk shows and commentary from hosts about a full range of sporting events, including soccer, American football, baseball and boxing. The network had stations in 15 states in the United States (Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Washington).
