KTBU (channel 55) is a television station licensed to Conroe, Texas, United States, broadcasting the digital multicast network Quest to the Houston area. It is owned and operated by Tegna Inc. alongside CBS affiliate KHOU (channel 11). Both stations share studios on Westheimer Road near Uptown Houston, while KTBU's transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County. Previously, KTBU maintained separate facilities on Old Katy Road in the northwest side of Houston, while the KHOU studios only housed KTBU's master control and some internal operations. KVQT-LD
KVQT-LD (channel 21) is a low-power television station in Houston, Texas, United States, which maintains affiliations with several digital multicast networks. The station is owned by C. Dowen Johnson. KVQT-LD's transmitter is located near Missouri City, in unincorporated northeastern Fort Bend County. History The station was founded on May 1, 1990, on channel 24, but moved to channel 21 in 2005 due to displacement by KETH-TV's digital signal. Memorial Park, a municipal park in Houston, Texas, is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Opened in 1924, the park covers approximately mostly inside the 610 Loop, across from the neighborhood of Memorial. Memorial Drive runs through the park, heading east to downtown Houston and west to the 610 Loop.
