Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab
Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab (KSK) is a Tibetan Buddhist center of the Kagyu School located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The temple complex features the Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab Bodhi Stupa, a tall stupa. The primary practice of the temple is that of ''Avalokiteśvara'', the bodhisattva of compassion. The popular Tibetan female bodhisattva Tara is also honored. Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab was founded in 1975 by Tibetan lama Karma Dorje, who was sent to establish a Buddhist center by his teacher, Kalu Rinpoche. Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab Bodhi Stupa The Kagyu Shenpen Kunchab Bodhi Stupa stands in height with a bronze spire. Lama Karma Dorje started building the stupa in 1983 together with local practitioners. The stupa was finished in 1986 and was consecrated by H.E. Kalu Rinpoche. The stupa contains Buddhist relics and the interior is brightly painted with Buddhist deities. Kala Shah Kaku (also known as KSK) is a town located in Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is part of the Ferozewala Tehsil of Sheikhupura District. Karşıyaka () is a district of İzmir Province in Turkey. The district extends for twelve kilometres along the northern and eastern coastline of the tip of the Gulf of İzmir. Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) is a non religious, non-profit organization operating in Malaysia. It provides food, healthcare, education and other facilities to the homeless and urban poor. It was founded in 2006 by Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. Apart from the Soup Kitchen, KSK also has other programs like the Food Bank program and Empowerment program. The Kra Isthmus ( th, คอคอดกระ, ) in Thailand is the narrowest part of the Malay Peninsula. The western part of the isthmus belongs to Ranong Province and the eastern part to Chumphon Province, both in Southern Thailand. The isthmus is bordered to the west by the Andaman Sea and to the east by the Gulf of Thailand. The Kra Isthmus marks the boundary between two sections of the mountain chain which runs from Tibet through the Malay peninsula. A kill switch, also known as an emergency stop (E-stop), emergency off (EMO) and as an emergency power off (EPO), is a safety mechanism used to shut off machinery in an emergency, when it cannot be shut down in the usual manner. Kissing Suzy Kolber was an NFL-related humor blog run by a group of unsanctioned sports bloggers. The site began in June 2006 when the founders came together as like-minded commenters from the sports blog Deadspin. In 2006, 2007, and 2008, the site won the Weblog Award for Best Sports Blog. Writers KSK took its name from an incident during a December 20, 2003 game broadcast between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots, in which former Jets quarterback Joe Namath drunkenly made advances on ESPN sideline reporter Suzy Kolber. History The terminal “Kombinat ''Stroikomplekt''” (since April 2014 known as KSK) was launched in 2006. It occupied 7 hectares of same name enterprise: a former “Stroydetal” factory of “Novorossiyskmorstroy”, managed by the Mintransstroy (the USSR Department of Transport Construction). The facility was equipped with sheltered warehouses, parking lots and four III-class berths. The proprietary (Delo Group) initiated a reconstruction in 2007.
