KSKI-FM (94.5 FM) is a commercial radio station located in Sun Valley, Idaho. The station was assigned the KSKI-FM call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on June 2, 1980. History KSKI-FM went on the air August 3, 1977 on 93.5 MHz, the sister to KSKI AM 1340. It broadcast from a tower atop Bald Mountain. Within three months of signing on, it changed its automation format; automation complemented its diverse block programming lineup. KSKI-AM-FM were known for their eclectic mix of music programming, aiming to serve listeners in a market that had no other radio stations; the pair also gained a small but devoted audience in the larger Twin Falls area. KSKI was an AM radio station at 1340 kHz in Hailey, Idaho, which broadcast between 1960 and 1992. The station was the first in the Wood River Valley and spawned a successful FM station, KSKI-FM, which remains on the air. It ceased broadcasting due to economic difficulties spurred by the launch of radio station KECH-FM, which was KSKI-AM-FM's first competitor in the Sun Valley area. History KSKI signed on the air on November 17, 1960. The station was initially licensed to Sun Valley and gave the resort town its first full-time radio service, broadcasting from studios located in the Sun Valley Lodge at the resort and a transmitter in Ketchum. Licensed to Avon, Colorado, United States, the station is currently owned by Steve Leigh, through licensee KNS Broadcasting, LLC. History KZYR signed on at 103.1 MHz in 1984 as "Brave New World". It was the fourth radio station in the Eagle Valley, with studios in the Benchmark Building in Avon. Clint Stennett
W. Clinton "Clint" Stennett (October 1, 1956 – October 14, 2010) was a Democratic politician and a minority leader of the Idaho Senate. Stennett represented District 25, which includes Blaine, Gooding, Camas and Lincoln Counties. Stennett served in the Idaho Senate from 1994 to 2010, but was unable to fulfill his duties after the 2008 session due to poor health. He served as the minority leader from 1999 to 2009. He previously served in the Idaho House from 1990 through 1994. Stennett was president of E-da-Ha Inc., which owns television stations in Sun Valley, Twin Falls and McCall. As one of the state's most prominent Democrats, Stennett had been mentioned as a potential candidate for governor in 2006. However, he chose stand for reelection to the Idaho Senate instead.
