White Knight Broadcasting is a company based in Lafayette, Louisiana owning three stations, based in Louisiana and Texas. It was founded in 1995 when it purchased then-religious independent station KWLB (now KSHV-TV) in Shreveport, LA. On April 24, 2013, as part of the sale of White Knight Broadcasting's partner Communications Corporation of America to the Nexstar Media Group, Nexstar Broadcasting Group, White Knight announced the sale of its entire group to Mission Broadcasting (except for KSHV-TV, which would be sold to a company called Rocky Creek Communications), with Nexstar taking over the operations of the stations through shared services agreements. An independent station is a type of television station broadcasting in the United States or Canada that is not affiliated with any broadcast television network; most commonly, these stations carry a mix of syndicated, brokered and in some cases, local programming to fill time periods when network programs typically would air. Louisiana Highway 3132 (LA 3132) is a state highway located in Shreveport, Louisiana. It runs in a general east–west direction from the junction of Interstates 20 and 220 to LA 523, serving as a southwestern bypass of the downtown area.
