It is owned by Pinnacle Media alongside Estrella TV affiliate KFDF-CD (channel 44). The two stations share studios on North College Avenue in Fayetteville; KFFS-CD's transmitter is located on South 56th Street in Springdale. KQRY-LD (channel 36) in Fort Smith is a translator of KFFS-CD; this station's transmitter is located near Winslow, Arkansas. Equity Media Holdings Corporation was a broadcasting company based in Little Rock, Arkansas that owned and operated television stations across the United States. Prior to March 30, 2007, the company was known as Equity Broadcasting, a name later used for its broadcast station subsidiary. The company had a focus on Hispanic and Asian American communities in large markets while owning a combination of English-language network affiliates in medium and small markets. Sallisaw is a city and county seat in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, United States. As of the 2010 Census, it had a population was 8,880, an 11.2 percent increase over the figure of 7,891 recorded in 2000.
