KPTM (channel 42) is a television station in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, affiliated with Fox and The CW. Pappas Telecasting Companies was a diversely organized broadcasting company headquartered in Visalia, California, United States. Founded in 1971, it was one of the largest privately held broadcasting companies in the country, with its stations reaching over 15% of all U.S. households and over 32% of Hispanic households. Local Marketing Agreement
In North American broadcasting, a local marketing agreement (LMA), or local management agreement, is a contract in which one company agrees to operate a radio or television station owned by another party. In essence, it is a sort of lease or time-buy. Under Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, a local marketing agreement must give the company operating the station (the "senior" partner) under the agreement control over the entire facilities of the station, including the finances, personnel and programming of the station. Its original licensee (the "junior" partner) still remains legally responsible for the station and its operations, such as compliance with relevant regulations regarding content. Gretna is a city in Sarpy County, Nebraska, Sarpy County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 4,441 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census. History Gretna started shortly after the Burlington Railroad built a short line between Omaha, Nebraska, Omaha and Ashland, Nebraska, Ashland in the summer of 1886.
