KLDZ (103.5 FM, "Kool 103.5") is a radio station licensed to serve Medford, Oregon, United States. The station is owned by Bicoastal Media. It airs a classic hits music format. KOOL 103.5 personalities include market vets Don Hurley and Casey Baker. Amanda Valentine and Cricket Kincaid round out the weekday talent. KOOL is also home for American Top 40 rebroadcasts from the 1970s and 1980s, The Ultimate Party and Lovin' Life Living The 80s with Tom Kent, and Beatles Weekly with JC Haze. The 103.5 frequency was originally licensed to Medford as KOPE. Medford, Oregon
Medford is a city in and the county seat of Jackson County, Oregon, in the United States. As of the 2020 United States Census on April 1, 2020, the city had a total population of 85,824 and a metropolitan area population of 223,259, making the Medford MSA the fourth largest metro area in Oregon. The city was named in 1883 by David Loring, civil engineer and right-of-way agent for the Oregon and California Railroad, after Medford, Massachusetts, which was near Loring's hometown of Concord, Massachusetts. Medford is near the middle ford of Bear Creek. History In 1883, a group of railroad surveyors headed by S. L. Dolson and David Loring arrived in Rock Point, near present-day Gold Hill. Arthur William Bell III (June 17, 1945 – April 13, 2018) was an American broadcaster and author. He was the founder and the original host of the paranormal-themed radio program ''Coast to Coast AM'', which is syndicated on hundreds of radio stations in the United States and Canada. He also created and hosted its companion show ''Dreamland''. ''Coast to Coast'' still airs nightly. In 2003, Bell semi-retired from ''Coast to Coast AM''. Roy Masters (commentator)
Roy Masters (born 2 April 1928, died 22 April 2021) was an English-born American author, radio personality, businessman and hypnotist. He was the creator of a type of mindfulness meditation exercise, which has appeared in his books and recordings. Masters is the founder of the Oregon non-profit organization, the Foundation of Human Understanding. His forays into radio broadcasting included his own show, ''Advice Line'', and the Talk Radio Network, a short-lived but popular conservative talk radio syndicator. Ashland, Oregon
Ashland is a city in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. It lies along Interstate 5 approximately 16 miles (26 km) north of the California border and near the south end of the Rogue Valley.
