Košarkaški klub Novi Sad ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб Нови Сад), commonly referred to as КK Novi Sad, was a men's professional basketball club based in Novi Sad, Serbia. In their last five seasons, the club played in the Basketball League of Serbia. Their home arena was the SPC Vojvodina. History The club participated at the 2003 PBA Invitational Championship in Pasay, organized by the Philippine Basketball Association. They played with FedEx Express, Red Bull Barako, Talk 'N Text Phone Pals, and the Yonsei Eagles in Group A; finished the fourth with a 1–3 record. In August 2011, the club was merged into Vojvodina Srbijagas. The merger was done to help strengthen the financial position of the clubs. Košarkaški klub Vojvodina Srbijagas ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб Војводина Србијагас), commonly referred to as KK Vojvodina Srbijagas, was a men's professional basketball club based in Novi Sad, Serbia. The club participated in the Basketball League of Serbia and Adriatic League. They played their home games in SPC Vojvodina. The club was also known as Nova Vojvodina () to distinguish it from the same-name town rivals KK Vojvodina. The club disbanded before the 2016–17 season due to a bad financial situation, when the sponsor, Srbijagas, ceased their investments in the team. It was not a member of the Vojvodina Sport Society, but a successor of the KK Beobanka and KK Novi Sad clubs. Nikola Kalinić (basketball)
Nikola Kalinić ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Калинић; born 8 November 1991) is a Serbian professional basketball player for FC Barcelona of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He also represents the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. He is a tall small forward and he is often considered as a premier player at his position within European basketball. Professional career Early years Kalinić made his professional debut with his hometown team Spartak Subotica. Mileta Lisica
Mileta Lisica ( sr-cyr, Милета Лисица; 7 October 1966 – 11 November 2020) was a Serbian-Slovenian professional basketball player. Playing career Lisica had played for the Poliester from Priboj and the KK Sloboda Tuzla, Sloboda from Tuzla before he came to the KK Crvena zvezda, Crvena zvezda. With the Zvezda he won two YUBA League titles (1993 and 1994). He spent one season at the KK Borovica, Borovica from Ruma and with them, he reached the YUBA League Playoffs Final in 1995. Marko Jagodić-Kuridža ( sr-cyr, Марко Јагодић Куриџа; born May 15, 1987) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Budućnost VOLI of the ABA League and the Prva A Liga. He also represents the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally.
