KK FMP (1991–2011)
Košarkaški klub FMP ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб ФMП), commonly referred to as KK FMP, was a men's professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. The club played its home games at the 3,000 capacity Železnik Hall and have won the regional ABA League twice, in the 2003–04 and 2005–06 seasons. In 2011, the club started cooperating with KK Crvena zvezda and competed under their name until 2015. In 2015, the club disbanded its senior team and changed the name to KK ILR Železnik. In 2013, Radnički FMP (formerly Radnički Novi Sad) adopted the name and the FMP logo, and renamed itself to KK FMP. However, not only according to the club's official website, but also according to the official website of the Adriatic League, this club still competes in the Adriatic League. Železnik Hall
Železnik Hall ( sr, Дворана Железник, Dvorana Železnik) is a basketball arena in Belgrade, Serbia. The arena is currently used as a home arena to the KK FMP Beograd of the Basketball League of Serbia and the Adriatic League. The basketball arena has three levels and the area of 4,500 square metres. With various associate structures it represents a modern sports and business complex. Apart from the seating capacity of 1,700, there is a hydromassage block, specialized medical diagnostic centre and a modern gym of 200 square metres. The arena has scenic illumination and loudspeakers of 6 kW. The arena got new premises, trophy hall, press hall with a capacity for 40 people and a hotel with an area of 1,000 square metres for the accommodation of basketball players. Ivo Lola Ribar
Ivan Ribar (23 April 1916 – 27 November 1943), known as Ivo Lola or Ivo Lolo, was a Yugoslav communist politician and military leader of Croatian descent. In the 1930s, he became one of the closest associates of Josip Broz Tito, leader of the Yugoslav Communist Party. In 1936, Ribar became secretary of the Central Committee of SKOJ (Young Communist League of Yugoslavia). During World War II in Yugoslavia, Ribar was among the main leaders of the Yugoslav Partisans and was a member of the Partisan Supreme Headquarters. During the war, he founded and ran several leftist youth magazines. In 1942, Ribar was among the founders of the Unified League of Anti-Fascist Youth of Yugoslavia (USAOJ). He was killed by a German bomb in 1943 near Glamoč while boarding an airplane for Cairo, where he was to become the first representative of Communist Yugoslavia to the Middle East Command. Košarkaški klub Cibona, commonly referred to as Cibona Zagreb or simply Cibona, is a men's professional basketball sports club, club based in Zagreb, Croatia. The club is a founding member and shareholder of the ABA League JTD, Adriatic Basketball Association, and competes in the ABA League, Adriatic League and the HT Premijer liga, Croatian League. 2003–04 ABA Goodyear League
The 2003–04 ABA Goodyear League was the third season of the Liga ABA. The league expanded this season: 14 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, and Slovenia participated in Goodyear League in its third season: Union Olimpija, Krka, Pivovarna Laško, Geoplin Slovan, Cibona VIP, Zadar, Zagreb, Split Croatia Osiguranje, Široki Hercegtisak, Banjalučka pivara, Crvena zvezda, Reflex, Budućnost, Lovćen CG komercijalna banka. Yugoslav Basketball Cup
The Yugoslav Basketball Cup ( sh, Kup Jugoslavije u košarci / ) was the men's national basketball cup of Yugoslavia between its inauguration 1959 and 2002. It was held in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1959 and 1991 and in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2002. In 2002, FR Yugoslavia changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro while the cup got renamed to the Radivoj Korać Cup. YUBA League
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2005. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions. The league was also named YUBA League: ''Sportstar YUBA League'', ''Winston YUBA League'', ''Frikom YUBA League'', ''Efes Pils YUBA League'', ''Atlas Pils YUBA League'', and ''Sinalco First League'', for sponsorship reasons.
