Balkan Steel is a defunct basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. They played in the Macedonian Premier League (basketball), Macedonian First League until the season 2002/2003. Jane Sandanski Arena
Jane Sandanski Arena ( mk, Спортскиот центар „Јане Сандански“ or ) is an indoor sports arena located in the Aerodrom Municipality of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia . It has a capacity of 6,000. It is named after revolutionary Jane Sandanski. History On 18 November 2012, it was announced that the arena would be completely demolished, with a new arena called Sports Centre Jane Sandanski planned to be built in its place. On 14 February 2013, MZT Aerodrom held their last training in Jane Sandanski, with more than a thousand fans attending. The following day the arena was officially closed and demolished. It was rebuilt and reopened in August 2014, financed by the Russian businessman Sergey Samsonenko, built alongside the four-star hotel "Russia". In September 2015, the west and east stands were upgraded by 650 seats and south and north stands upgraded with 500 seats. Jordančo Davitkov
Jordanco Davitkov (born 12 September 1963 in Kočani, mk, Јорданчо Давитков) is a former coach of the Macedonian National Basketball Team, and the Kuwait national basketball team. In 2011 on Gulf Games in Bahrain, with Kuwait National Team, won bronze medal. In 2009, 2010, 2011, three times in a row Davitkov was the Champion of Kuwait with BC Qadsia. With Qadsia also won Cup of Kuwait 2010 and Gulf Championship 2009! 2008- Head Coach of BC Snaefell_ Iceland.Since 2001 until 2007 Davitkov was Head coach of Macedonian National Team. Vladimir Đokić ( sr-cyr, Владимир Ђокић; born April 25, 1971) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for Vršac of the Basketball League of Serbia. Playing career A point guard, Đokić played 18 seasons in Yugoslavia, Slovakia, Hungary, Macedonia, and Serbia, between from 1990 and 2008. During his playing days, he played for Metalac, Spartak, Partizan, Crvena zvezda, Balkan Steel, Ergonom, EKF Eger, and Nitra. He retired as a player with Metalac in 2008. Riste Stefanov (born August 30, 1983) is a Macedonian former basketball player. Pro career Stefanov began his career with KK Tikveš's juniors. He made his debut with KK Tikveš during the 1999–00 season and was signed for the 2000–01 season by KK MZT Skopje. He moved to Slovenia for the 2001–02 season, signed by KK Union Olimpija.
