Košarkaški klub BFC ( sr-cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб БФЦ, en, BFC Basketball Club), commonly referred to as KK BFC or simply BFC Beočin, was a men's professional basketball club based in Beočin, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia. The club competed in the top-tier Yugoslav League from 1993 to 1997. History The club finished the 1995–96 YUBA League season as the runner-up, lost the Play-off Finals from Partizan. Milenko Topić
Milenko Topić (; born 6 March 1969) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. Playing career A power forward, Topić spent most of his professional career playing in the YUBA League, representing Profikolor, BFC Beočin, Crvena zvezda, Budućnost, and Hemofarm. In the later career, he also played in Italy for Montepaschi Siena and Olimpia Milano, as well as in Greece for Rethymno, until his retirement in 2008. National team career Topić was a member of the Yugoslavia national team (representing FR Yugoslavia) that won the silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, US. Over five tournament games, he averaged 2.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and one assist per game. Topić won the gold medal at EuroBasket 1997 in Spain. BC Šiauliai ( lt, Krepšinio klubas Šiauliai) is the professional basketball club of Šiauliai, Lithuania. The club competes in the Lithuanian Basketball League. The FIBA Korać Cup was an annual basketball club competition held by FIBA between the 1971–72 and 2001–02 seasons. Scaligera Basket Verona, known for sponsorship reasons as Tezenis Verona, is an Italian professional basketball club based in Verona, Italy. It competes in the LBA. History 1951–1982: Decades within the minor leagues Scaligera Basket was founded in Verona in 1951. From 1951 until 1971, Scaligera took part in local and regional competitions within the minor leagues of Italian basketball. In the early 1970s, a local entrepreneur, Giuseppe Vicenzi became the new owner of the club and sponsored the team Vicenzi Biscotti, which became one of the most recognizable name for Scaligera. The Yugoslav Basketball Cup ( sh, Kup Jugoslavije u košarci / ) was the men's national basketball cup of Yugoslavia between its inauguration 1959 and 2002. It was held in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1959 and 1991 and in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia between 1992 and 2002. In 2002, FR Yugoslavia changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro while the cup got renamed to the Radivoj Korać Cup. Marko Jeremić
Marko Jeremić ( sr-cyr, Марко Јеремић; born November 23, 1991) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Cedevita Olimpija of the ABA League and Slovenian League. Playing career Jeremić played youth basketball for the BFC Beočin. Jeremić played for Vojvodina from Novi Sad in the Second League of Serbia, and for the 2014–15 season, he moved to the city rival Vojvodina Srbijagas, which plays in the strongest league in Serbia. Jeremić also played for the Napredak Rubin from the Basketball League of Serbia. He played for the Mladost Mrkonjić Grad of the Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On September 13, 2017, Jeremić signed a two-year deal with Serbian club FMP. On 21 June 2020, Jeremić signed for a Monterenegin team Mornar.
