Its studios are located in Northeast Albuquerque, and its transmitter is located west of Los Lunas, New Mexico. KLVO broadcasts a New Mexico music and regional Mexican format branded as "Radio Lobo". Effective radiated power (ERP), synonymous with equivalent radiated power, is an IEEE standardized definition of directional radio frequency (RF) power, such as that emitted by a radio transmitter. Valles Caldera (or Jemez Caldera) is a wide volcanic caldera in the Jemez Mountains of northern New Mexico. Hot springs, streams, fumaroles, natural gas seeps and volcanic domes dot the caldera floor landscape.
