The nightly hour-long show debuted on January 26, 2003, at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California, as part of ABC's lead-out programming for Super Bowl XXXVII. ''Jimmy Kimmel Live!'' is produced by Kimmelot in association with ABC Signature. It holds the title as the longest running late-night talk show on the network, having aired for more than three times as long as either ''The Dick Cavett Show'' (1969–1975) or ''Politically Incorrect'' (1997–2002).
