KJDJ is a radio station in San Luis Obispo, California, United States, broadcasting on 1030 kHz AM. It is owned by Centro Cristiano Vida Abundante and is one of three California radio stations that broadcast its Radio Vida Abundante programming with a Spanish-language Christian radio format. History KJDJ began broadcasting February 8, 1988. The station was known as "1030 News Radio" and aired sporting events of the Cal Poly Mustangs. KJDJ was sold in November 1992 to Jaime Bonilla Valdez, then-owner of KURS (1040 AM) in San Diego and future Governor of Baja California, Mexico, for $155,000. Bonilla then sold 30 percent to minority owners of that station. The new ownership changed KJDJ to a Spanish-language format. Lompoc ( ; Chumash: ''Lum Poc'') is a city in Santa Barbara County, California. Located on the Central Coast, Lompoc has a population of 43,834 as of July 2021. Lompoc has been inhabited for thousands of years by the Chumash people, who called the area Lum Poc, meaning "stagnant waters" or "lagoon" in the local Purisimeño language. KRQK (100.3 FM, "La Ley") is a commercial radio station that is licensed to Lompoc, California, United States and serves the Santa Maria—Lompoc area. The station is owned by American General Media and broadcasts a regional Mexican music format. History KRQK was signed on December 18, 1979 at the 100.9 FM frequency by Sunshine Wireless of California, broadcasting a top 40 format. In 1985, Sunshine Wireless sold KRQK and its AM sister station KLLB (1410 AM) to Crystal Broadcasting Inc. for $1.75 million. Jaime Bonilla Valdez (born 9 June 1950) is a Mexican politician and entrepreneur who served as the Governor of Baja California from 2019 to 2021. A member of the National Regeneration Movement party, he has been a Federal Congressman and a Senator of the Republic.
