The station would officially sign on the air on March 30, 2006, with an adult hits format, branded as "100.5 Bob FM" and call letters KIBB. KWME (92.7 FM) is a radio station. Licensed to Wellington, Kansas, United States, the station serves the Wichita, Kansas area. The station is currently owned by Rocking M Media, LLC. History After many years on 93.5 FM, the station moved to 92.7 FM in December 2011, following KANR's move to 99.7 FM. On July 2, 2018, KWME dropped its classic hits format and began stunting with all-Patriotic music as "92.7 The Patriot." On July 4, at Noon, KWME flipped to Rhythmic AC as "92.7 The Blast", launching with "Jump Around" by House of Pain. The flip marked the return of an adult-oriented rhythmic format to the market for the first time since now-former sister station KKGQ shifted from Rhythmic to Hot AC in October 2015. KKLE (1550 AM) is a radio station in Winfield, Kansas and is owned by Rocking M Radio Inc. History On March 29, 2019, Rocking M announced they would sell KKLE and its five sister stations in the Wichita/Wellington/Winfield area to Allied Media Partners, a local group owned by Matt Baty and Tommy Castor, for $6.2 million. Allied Media Partners took over the stations via a local marketing agreement on April 1. The FCC approved the sale in late May; however, the sale was not consummated due to Allied Media Partners’ condition that Rocking M would clear all liens and outstanding debt on the stations in order for the sale to be completed. The completion date would be delayed a few more times, with a final scheduled completion date of October 31. KLEY (1130 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an adult contemporary format to the Wellington, Kansas, United States, area. The station is owned by Rocking M Media, LLC. 1130 AM is a clear-channel frequency shared by Canada and The United States. History Ed & Zora Hundley's Sumner Broadcasting Company applied for a construction permit for KLEY on June 28, 1965. On November 4, 1966, the station applied for a license to cover its construction permit, & KLEY received its first license on February 6, 1967. The station has carried the callsign KLEY since its inception. KLEY was a family-owned station for years, run by Ed and Zora Belle Hundley. In North American broadcasting, a local marketing agreement (LMA), or local management agreement, is a contract in which one company agrees to operate a radio or television station owned by another party. In essence, it is a sort of lease or time-buy. Under Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, a local marketing agreement must give the company operating the station (the "senior" partner) under the agreement control over the entire facilities of the station, including the finances, personnel and programming of the station. Its original licensee (the "junior" partner) still remains legally responsible for the station and its operations, such as compliance with relevant regulations regarding content. Haven is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 1,170. History Haven was laid out in 1886, and incorporated as a city in 1901. The first post office in Haven was established in 1873. The local high school football team was on the winning side of a lopsided football game against another school from across the county in Sylvia. Played in 1927 with a final score of 256–0, the game produced multiple national and state high school records. As of 2016, the state records include: Total points scored, points by both teams, widest margin, widest shutout, most touchdowns (38), and most rushing touchdowns (30).
