KF Trepça
Klubi Futbollistik Trepça, commonly known as KF Trepça, is a football club based in the southern part of Mitrovica, Kosovo. Adem Jashari Olympic Stadium
The Adem Jashari Olympic Stadium ( sq, Stadiumi Olimpik Adem Jashari) is a multi-purpose stadium in Mitrovica, Kosovo, which is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of KF Trepça. The stadium has a capacity of around 35,000 people or 16,300 seated. After the Kosovo War, the stadium was renamed in honour of Adem Jashari, one of the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Adem Jashari
Adem Jashari (born Fazli Jashari; 28 November 1955 – 7 March 1998) was one of the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), a Kosovo Albanian separatist militia which fought for the secession of Kosovo from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the 1990s. Beginning in 1991, Jashari participated in attacks against the Serbian police before travelling to Albania to receive military training. Arrested in 1993, he was released at the behest of the Albanian Army and later returned to Kosovo, where he continued launching attacks against the Yugoslav establishment. In July 1997, he was convicted of terrorism ''in absentia'' by a Yugoslav court. After several unsuccessful attempts to capture or kill him, Serbian police launched an attack against Jashari's home in Prekaz in March 1998. 2004 Unrest In Kosovo
The 2004 unrest in Kosovo is the worst ethnic violence case in Kosovo since the end of the Kosovo War, 1998–99 conflict. The violence erupted in the partitioned town of Mitrovica, Kosovo, Kosovo Mitrovica, leaving hundreds wounded and at least 14 people dead. The unrest was precipitated by misleading reports in the Kosovo Albanians, Kosovo Albanian media which falsely claimed that three Kosovo Albanian boys had drowned after being chased into the Ibar (river), Ibar River by a group of Kosovo Serbs. Isa Sadriu (; born 27 December 1963) is a former Kosovo Albanian footballer. Playing career Club After playing with FK Trepča in the Yugoslav Second League since 1981, his talent was spotted by FK Partizan who brought him to their team during the winter break of the 1985–86 Yugoslav First League season. He played a total of 72 matches for Partizan, 22 of which were league ones. He left in the following winter having won two national championships during his year in Belgrade, and has joined FC Prishtina who was at that time the only top flight club from SAP Kosovo.
