KFLC (1270 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Benbrook, Texas and broadcasting to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The station is owned by Univision Radio, with studios located along the John W. Carpenter Freeway in the Stemmons Corridor of Northwest Dallas. KFLC airs a Spanish language sports radio format, primarily airing programming from the co-owned TUDN Radio Network. It also carries play by play featuring Texas Rangers Dallas Mavericks and FC Dallas KFLC is a Class B regional station, that uses a directional antenna at all times from its transmitter site off East Lancaster Avenue (Route 180) in Fort Worth. During the day it operates with 50,000 watts, the maximum power permitted for U.S. AM radio stations. KDXX (107.9 FM) is a commercial radio station serving the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas. The station is licensed to Lewisville, Texas, and owned and operated by Uforia Audio Network, a division of Univision Communications. KDXX is simulcast with 107.1 KESS-FM Benbrook, with a Spanish-language contemporary hits radio format. The studios are along the John W. Carpenter Freeway in the Stemmons Corridor of Northwest Dallas. KDXX has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for non-grandfathered FM stations. TUDN Radio (formerly Univision Deportes Radio) is a U.S. Spanish-language sports radio network operated by Uforia Audio Network, a division of TelevisaUnivision. It launched on March 15, 2017 on ten AM and FM radio stations, most of which previously affiliated with the ill-fated Univision America until its 2015 closure. KLNO
KLNO (94.1 FM) is a Regional Mexican music formatted radio station broadcasting to the Dallas/ Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. The station's studios are located in the Univision 23 Studios in the Arts District in Downtown Dallas. This signal was created in 1981 when then owner Marcos Rodriguez, Sr. successfully petitioned the FCC to change the frequency of KESS 93.9 to 94.1 and permit a move to the Cedar Hill, Texas antenna farm. His son, Marcos A. Rodriguez, controlled this frequency from 1986 to 1999. In 1964, Marcos Rodriguez, Sr. was hired by Mike Bradley and became the first full-time employee of 93.9 (then owned by John Walton and called KBUY-FM). John Walton purchased KBUY when it was called KCUL. Its call letters came from the backwards spelling of the original owner's name - Dr. L.H. Luck. Northwest Dallas is an area consisting of many communities and neighborhoods in Dallas, Texas, (USA). Geography The area is bordered by I-635 to the North, Stemmons Freeway to the West, the Dallas North Tollway to the East and to the South it goes to the junction of I-35E and the Dallas North Tollway.
