KERA-TV (channel 13) is a PBS member television station licensed to Dallas, Texas, United States, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Owned by North Texas Public Broadcasting, Inc., it is sister to National Public Radio (NPR) member station KERA (90.1 FM) and adult album alternative station KKXT (91.7 FM). The stations share studios on Harry Hines Boulevard, while KERA-TV's transmitter is located in Cedar Hill, Texas. KEXB (1440 AM) is a radio station, licensed to University Park, Texas, and serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It is owned and operated by Relevant Radio, Inc., and carries a Catholic talk and teaching radio format. Most of the programming comes from the Wisconsin-based radio network known as "Relevant Radio." By day, KEXB transmits 50,000 watts, the maximum for AM radio stations licensed by the Federal Communications Commission, but at night, to protect other stations on 1440 AM, it reduces power to 350 watts. KKDA-FM (104.5 MHz), known as K104, has been a leading radio station in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex for 46 years. It is a longtime heritage urban contemporary formatted station. It is owned by Service Broadcasting Corporation alongside KRNB. Its studios are located in Arlington, Texas, and the transmitter site is in Cedar Hill.
