K3CS
''K3CS'' is a studio double album by Peter Freeman. It was released posthumously on the zOaR Records label on April 1, 2022. The album is composed of two records, ''Sinistar'' and ''Mercurial''. ''Sinistar'' was a record that Freeman had finished prior to his death in 2021 but was unreleased. ''Mercurial'' was an unreleased record from 2000, composed entirely of highly processed bass sounds. Peter Freeman (musician)
Peter Freeman (May 29, 1965 – March 16, 2021) was an American bassist, composer, and record producer. Based in his studio in Los Angeles, he worked on records, live performance, and film and television soundtracks. He was primarily known for his association with avant-garde composer and trumpet-player Jon Hassell. He was also a regular contributor to ''Electronic Musician'' during the 80s and 90s. Biography Freeman began his professional musical career in 1983 as a bassist with Indian electric violinist L. Shankar. From there, he became involved with mainstream musicians, touring with Seal and Pierce Turner, playing with John Cale, Alanis Morissette, Nile Rodgers, Shawn Colvin, Sussan Deyhim, Elliott Sharp. Clavilux
Clavilux is the term coined by the artist Thomas Wilfred to refer to his mechanical invention that allowed the creation and performance of lumia, which was Wilfred's term for light art. From Latin, Clavilux means "Light played by key." Wilfred built his first Clavilux, Model A, from March to May 1919. While Wilfred intended the term to refer to any device that could be used to perform Lumia, the name Clavilux was not widely adopted by other artists working with light. As such the term is closely associated with Wilfred and his mechanical vocabulary. The only other artist known to have built a Clavilux is W. Christian Sidenius, who was an ardent admirer and later good friend of Wilfred's. Sidenius built a theatre behind his home to house his Clavilux and host Lumia recitals during the summer months. Knox Chandler is an American musician known primarily as a guitarist, though he also plays cello, keyboards and other instruments. He has worked extensively as a session musician. In the early to mid-1970s, Chandler attended the Hammonasset School and Bard College. Chandler worked with Depeche Mode, Lori Carson, The Golden Palominos, the Psychedelic Furs, Ultra Vivid Scene, Maggie Estep, the Creatures and R.E.M. Idaho is an American rock band formed in 1992 in Los Angeles, California. Idaho was a key band in the 1990s slowcore genre. Idaho was formed by high school friends Jeff Martin and John K. Berry who had played in various bands and projects together since 1981. The duo, who switched off on drumming duties and shared in the songwriting, were eventually signed to Caroline Records in December 1992 by Brian Long, and soon after released ''The Palms'' EP and ''Year After Year'' full-length in 1993. Anton Sanko is a composer, orchestrator and producer born in New York City. He has been writing music for films since 1991.
