Kär Och Galen
''Kär och galen'' is the sixth studio album by Swedish rock artist Ulf Lundell. It was released in April 1982 by EMI EMI Group Limited (originally an initialism for Electric and Musical Industries, also referred to as EMI Records Ltd. or simply EMI) was a British transnational conglomerate founded in March 1931 in London. At the time of its break-up in 201 .... It was produced by Lasse Lindbom, Ulf Lundell and Kjell Andersson. The album has sold 4× platinum in Sweden and contains Ulf Lundell's most famous song, "Öppna landskap" ("Open landscapes"), which meant his big break to a wider audience. The song was proposed to become Sweden's new national anthem and has been translated into a wide range of languages. The album was reissued in 1998 in a remastered version with two extra tracks, a demo version of "Öppna landskap" and "Hårt regn". Ulf Lundell
Ulf Gerhard Lundell (born 20 November 1949) is a Sweden, Swedish writer, poet, songwriter, composer, musician and artist. He made his debut in 1975 with the LP ''Vargmåne'' and was immediately hailed as "Sweden's Bob Dylan". In 1976 his first novel, the partly autobiographical ''Jack'' was published by Wahlström & Widstrand. Lundell was influenced by musicians such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and writers such as Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and other beat generation, beats. Ulf Lundell is one of the central figures in Swedish rock music and almost since his debut he has been one of the most important influences on rock musicians writing and singing in Swedish. Lundell is also somewhat controversial and has argued with everyone from neo-nazis, feminists and communists to colleagues and music journalists. ''Längre inåt landet'' is the fifth studio album by Swedish rock artist Ulf Lundell and was released on September 12, 1980, through Parlophone. It was produced by Lasse Lindbom, Ulf Lundell and Kjell Andersson. The album was Lundell's first double album. It was recorded at Ridge Farm in Surrey in southern England, and contains songs like "Stackars Jack" ("Poor Jack") and "Glad igen" ("Happy Again") who kept up with the live repertoire throughout the years. The latter is an interpretation of the Joni Mitchell song "Carey". On the LP release, track number 8 on the second disc is hidden. It is a recording of "Som en syster" ("Like a Sister") from the live album "Natten hade varit mild och öm" from 1977. The album was reissued in 1999 in a remastered version with three extra tracks, one of which is an interpretation of Bob Dylan's song " Just like a woman." Öppna Landskap
"Öppna landskap" is a song written by Ulf Lundell, and recorded by him on the 1982 in music, 1982 album ''Kär och galen''. Back in the 1980s, some people wanted to turn it into the national anthem of Sweden. The song was also recorded by Curt Haagers on the 1982 album ''En spännande dag för Josefine (album), En spännande dag för Josefine'', and Simons (band), Simons on the album "Novelty Accordion (album), Novelty Accordion". The song couldn't chart at Svensktoppen, as the programme was taken off air between June 1982 and October 1985.
