Kyrgyzstan National Futsal Team
The Kyrgyzstan national futsal team ( ky, Кыргызстан улуттук футзал курамасы, Keurgeuzstan Uluttuk Futsal Kuramaseu) represents Kyrgyzstan in international futsal competitions and is controlled by the Kyrgyz Football Union. Kyrgyzstan has yet to participate in the FIFA Futsal World Cup. Their closest attempt came in 2016, when they had won Japan but then lost to Australia in the fifth-place match of the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship. The Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU; ky, Кыргыз Футбол Бирлиги, ''Kyrgyz Futbol Birligi'', russian: Кыргызский футбольный союз, ''Kyrgyzskiy futbol'nyy soyuz'') is the governing body of football in Kyrgyzstan. Australia National Futsal Team
The Australia National Futsal Team represents Australia in men's international futsal. The team is controlled by the governing body for soccer in Australia, Football Australia, which is currently a member of both the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the regional ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) since leaving the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) in 2006. The team's official nickname is the ''Futsalroos''. Australia is a five-time OFC champion. The team has represented Australia at the FIFA Futsal World Cup tournaments on 7 occasions, but have never advanced beyond the group stage of the competition. After the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup, Football Australia decided not to continue investing and developing futsal in Australia. 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup
The 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the ninth edition of the FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was held in Lithuania. It marked the first FIFA tournament ever hosted by Lithuania and the third Futsal World Cup hosted in Europe; the others being 1989 in the Netherlands and 1996 in Spain. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held from 12 September to 4 October 2020 as the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FIFA announced on 3 April 2020 that a decision would be made whether the tournament would be postponed and rescheduled. The 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup was the seventh FIFA Futsal World Cup, the quadrennial international futsal championship contested by the men's national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
