Kyosuke Matsuyama (松山恭助, ''Matsuyama Kyōsuke'', born 19 December 1996) is a Japanese fencer. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's team foil event at the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia. A foil is one of the three weapons used in the sport of fencing, all of which are metal. It is flexible, rectangular in cross section, and weighs under a pound. As with the épée, points are only scored by contact with the tip, which, in electrically scored tournaments, is capped with a spring-loaded button to signal a touch. In human biology, handedness is an individual's preferential use of one hand, known as the dominant hand, due to it being stronger, faster or more dextrous.
