Kyle Johnson (American Football)
Albert Kyle Johnson (born December 15, 1978 in Wheaton, Illinois) is a former American football fullback. He was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the fifth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Syracuse. High school career As a senior at Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, Johnson won second-team All-State recognition, All-County honors, and All-Area honors. College career Johnson played collegiately for Syracuse. However, an ankle injury ended his season in the opener but still had 20 touchdowns; he was subsequently granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. Professional career Kyle was drafted by the Carolina Panthers as the 10th pick in the 5th round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He was cut by the team after training camp and spent time on the New York Giants and Detroit Lions' practice squads. Kyle Johnson (born August 14, 1951) is an American actor, most notable for his performance in the 1969 film ''The Learning Tree''. He is the son of actress Nichelle Nichols and her husband Foster Johnson. His parents divorced the year he was born. Johnson began his acting career when he accompanied his mother, as a form of punishment, to an audition for a stage play. The director saw Johnson and cast him on the spot for the production. Johnson's TV appearances include such shows as '' The Fugitive'' and ''The Mod Squad''. His early film roles include the 1965 epic film ''The Greatest Story Ever Told'', in which he was cast as the son of Simon of Cyrene (who was portrayed by Sidney Poitier). Later films included Roger Vadim's ''Pretty Maids All in a Row'' (1971) and ''Brother on the Run'' (1973). Johnson was active in the Los Angeles music scene of the 1980s as a musician and songwriter. Kyle Johnson (born 31 December 1988) is a Canadian-born British basketball player for the Newcastle Eagles of the British Basketball League (BBL). Born in Scarborough, Ontario, Johnson played for West Hill Collegiate Institute before enrolling to LIU Brooklyn to play college basketball. After graduating from college, he has played professionally in Europe and Canada. College career Coming from West Hill Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Johnson's college career spanned four seasons, where he averaged 11.6 points per game whilst making a Long Island University record 124 appearances. As a freshman, he was named in the NEC all-rookie team. During his senior year Johnson helped the Blackbirds to a 27–6 record, Win the 2011 Northeast Conference men's basketball tournament and an appearance in the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.
