Kyle Gookins
Kyle Gookins (born June 24, 1982) is an American soccer coach who most previously coached the Stetson Hatters men's soccer program. Gookins attended California State University, Bakersfield for both his Bachelor's and Master's, and also played for their soccer team. Career Kyle Gookins began his coaching career immediately after graduating from undergrad, becoming a graduate assistant coach for the CSU Bakerfield Roadrunners. Gookins was part of the Roadrunners program as a graduate assistant coach through 2008. The Stetson Hatters are composed of 18 teams representing Stetson University in intercollegiate athletics. The Hatters compete in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are members of the ASUN Conference for most sports, except for the football team, which competes in the Pioneer Football League. Stetson is a brand of hat manufactured by the John B. Stetson Company. "Stetson" is also used as a generic trademark to refer to any campaign hat, in particular, in Scouting. John B. The ASUN Conference, formerly the Atlantic Sun Conference, is a collegiate athletic conference operating mostly in the Southeastern United States.
