A black cat is a domestic cat with black fur that may be a mixed or specific breed, or a common domestic cat of no particular breed. The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) recognizes 22 cat breeds that can come with solid black coats. The Bombay breed is exclusively black. All-black fur pigmentation is slightly more prevalent in male cats than female cats. Most black cats have golden irises due to their high melanin pigment content. In popular myths, witches are believed to be associated with black cats. Coat Any cat whose fur is a single color, including black, is known as a "solid" or "self". McFarland & Company. is a 1968 Japanese horror film directed by Kaneto Shindo, and an adaptation of a supernatural folktale. Set during a civil war in feudal Japan, the film's plot concerns the vengeful spirits, or ''onryō'', of a woman and her daughter-in-law, who died at the hands of a band of samurai. It stars Kichiemon Nakamura, Nobuko Otowa, and Kiwako Taichi. ''Kuroneko'' was shot in black-and-white and in TohoScope format, and distributed by Toho. Kuroneko (singer)
(born in Osaka Prefecture, Japan) is the lead singer of the Japanese heavy metal band, Onmyo-Za. After being part of some local bands, she and Matatabi, who is the leader and the main songwriter, formed Onmyo-za in Osaka in 1999. "Kuroneko" means a black cat and she had used that stagename before Onmyo-Za started. The other members of Onmyo-Za also use stagenames related to cats. The '' Trigun'' anime and manga series features an extensive cast of characters created by Yasuhiro Nightow. The series takes place on a fictional desert planet where humanity has taken up root after leaving Earth. In this western/steampunk setting, civilization is sparse and mostly lawless. The plot and characters of the series differ greatly between the original manga and its anime adaptation, the anime only following roughly up to the second volume of the manga before diverging into its own unique telling of the story. short for is a Japanese light novel series written by Tsukasa Fushimi, with illustrations provided by Hiro Kanzaki. The story depicts high school student Kyosuke Kosaka who discovers that his standoffish younger sister Kirino is actually an otaku with an extensive collection of moe anime and younger sister-themed eroge she has been collecting in secret. She is best known for her work while signed to the Zabun production company and its two promotions; Pro Wrestling Wave and Osaka Joshi Pro Wrestling.
