Kross (KDE)
Kross is a scripting framework for KDE Frameworks. Originally Kross was designed for use in KOffice but eventually became the official scripting framework in KDE Software Compilation 4. Kross is designed to provide full scripting power for users of KDE applications, with a language of ''their own choice''; and make it easy for developers targeting the KDE platform to enable their application with support for ''multiple scripting languages'' (without themselves needing to be proficient in any of them). The Kross scripting framework is not a scripting language itself. It merely serves to plug into KDE the support for other, already existing scripting languages. Currently supported are: Python, Ruby, and JavaScript and the Falcon Programming Language. Addition of other scripting languages is made easy by the modular architecture of the framework. Kris Kross
Kris Kross was an American hip hop duo that consisted of Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly and Chris "Daddy Mac" Smith. Kris Kross was the youngest hip-hop duo to gain success, with gold and platinum albums at 12 and 13 years old. The duo was discovered by Jermaine Dupri in 1991 and hit worldwide status the following year with their smash hit debut single, "Jump", which topped the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 for eight weeks and was certified double platinum as a single. They went on to release three studio albums, with their debut album '' Totally Krossed Out'' topping the US ''Billboard'' 200, and their following albums, '' Da Bomb'' and '' Young, Rich & Dangerous'' making it into the Top 20. Kross is a Polish sports industry company which specializes in manufacturing bicycles and bicycle frames. The company is currently the largest in Poland manufacturing bicycles sold in the Polish market. In 2005 the company sold almost 800,000 products, half of which were exported to 35 countries, 30 of which are in Europe. History The company was founded in 1990 when Zbigniew Sosnowski opened a bike shop in Przasnysz, which soon turned into a warehouse and assembly plant for bicycles. With time, and the right investments, the company has become a thriving manufacturer of bicycles, originally sold under the Grand brand, and from 2003 - Kross. Since 2004, they also own and manufacture the Zipp brand of scooters. In 2018, the company manufactured a total of 275,000 bicycles.
