Krasne, Masovian Voivodeship
Krasne is a village in Przasnysz County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Krasne. It lies approximately south-east of Przasnysz and north of Warsaw. During World War II, it was the seat of Erich Koch, the last Oberpräsident of East Prussia. It was situated in the Zichenau Region. Sontsivka ( uk, Сонцівка), known as Krasne ( uk, Кра́сне) from 1927 to 2016, is a village in Pokrovsk Raion of Donetsk Oblast in Ukraine. History The village, founded in 1785, was initially in the Bakhmutsky Uyezd of the Yekaterinoslav Governorate in the Russian Empire and was named after its owner Dmitri Dmitrievich Sontsov. In the Soviet Union, it was renamed Krasne in 1927 and kept the name until it was renamed Sontsivka in 2016 as part of decommunization in Ukraine. Ivanivske, Donetsk Oblast
Ivanivske (), known as Krasne () before 2016, is a small town ( selo) in eastern Ukraine, located in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast. It is located west of Bakhmut. History Ivanivske was founded in the 18th century as a dacha of Bakhmut by Protopope Ivan Lukyanov. The protopope was known for his spiritual leadership, and many Cossacks came to his farm to work for the sake of spiritual salvation. In 1776, the lands of the farm were given to Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Vasylyovych Shabelsky, who founded the settlement of Ivanivka on his new possessions. The village continued to grow, and by 1859, it had 667 residents, 87 farmsteads, an Orthodox church, a factory, and three fairs a year. By 1886, the population had grown to 767, with 135 farmsteads, an Orthodox church, a bench, and two fairs a year. In 1908, the village had 1,473 residents. Krasne (Ukrainian ; Russian /'; Romanian ''Crasna'') is a village in the Odesa Oblast, Ukraine, with about 1,300 inhabitants (2001). It belongs to Tarutyne settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. History The territory of Bessarabia was established in 1812 in Peace of Bucharest from the Ottoman Vassal Prinzipality of Moldavia together with the Budjak in Imperial Russia. The new acquisition was treated as a colonization area and initially assigned to the Bessarabia Governorate. In 1814, colonists (mostly Germans) emigrated from the Duchy of Warsaw and established a colony in Bessarabia. Initially, the colony was given the number of the land plot in the overall survey plan on which it was located. Krasna was ''Steppe No. 7'', often referred to as ''Colonia Catholica''. Krasne ( ua, Красне, pl, Krasne) is a village (''selo'') in Stryi Raion, Lviv Oblast, in south-west Ukraine. It belongs to Kozova rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Krasne is a railway station in Krasne, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine. The station was first opened in 1869 as part of the Karl Ludwig Railway. A branch from Krasne was later extended into the Russian Empire in 1871. The station was attacked by German forces in 1941 during World War II.
