KRAM
KRAM (1070 AM) was a radio station licensed to serve West Klamath, Oregon, United States. The station, established in 1989, was owned by Scott D. MacArthur, personal representative of the estate of Sandra A. Falk. KRAM fell silent in July 2006 and was deleted from the FCC database in February 2010. Programming Before falling silent in July 2006, KRAM broadcast a nostalgia music radio format branded as "The Ram". History This station received its original construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission on June 6, 1985. The FCC assigned the new station the KWSA call sign on October 23, 1985. KWSA received its license to cover from the FCC on June 7, 1989. In September 1996, Western States Broadcasting reached an agreement to sell this station to Sandra Ann Falk. The deal was approved by the FCC on December 16, 1996, and the transaction was consummated on January 9, 1997. KRAM-LP
KRAM-LP (96.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a modern adult contemporary and adult album alternative (AAA or "Triple-A") music format. Licensed to Montevideo, Minnesota, United States, the station is currently owned by Thunderhawk Broadcasting Inc. The station was founded by two local high school students who applied for an LPFM license and got it. They put their station on the air as KKRM-LP in July 2004. The station changed its call sign to KRAM-LP on September 22, 2017. Currently, KRAM broadcasts from their downtown Montevideo studio. History KRAM was the idea of two high-schoolers, Josiah Christoffer and Jacob Niemand who, after building a makeshift studio, signed on KRAM in Montevideo, Minnesota as an unlicensed radio station, on CB Radio channel 2 in June 1997 as KKCB. Mark Anthony Maher, better known by his stage name Kram, is an Australian musician and the drummer and singer of Spiderbait. His stage name is an anagram of his first name; "Kram" is simply "Mark" spelled backwards. Kram has appeared at the 2005 benefit concert for the South-East Asian tsunami, WaveAid, as a member of supergroup the Wrights who performed Stevie Wright's three-part classic, "Evie". His debut solo album, ''Mix Tape'', was released on 13 March 2009. Born in , Borlänge, he primarily wrote young adult novels, most notably '' Kram'' (1973).
